and searching much easier. It is also easy to magnify,
adding to the legibility. The images of the photo
plates have been enhanced and these are linked both
within the list and also by plate selection via the
photo plate pages.

to the catalogue, the buy/bid form, thematic listing and

Having them all, or just the catalogue and buy/bid
form for example, open at the same time, allows for easy use and
reference.
You can browse
the lot details in the catalogue and switch to put
your BUY or BID into the form, or cross reference the
thematic listing with the catalogue, or browse the
photo plates then look up the listing in the
catalogue, all without unnecessary delays or
complications.

You may
advise us of the lots you wish to purchase
immediately, by telephone, fax or by using the
online secure system on a strictly 'first come,
first served' basis. Lots are realistically
estimated and we strongly suggest that if you wish
to purchase at the BUY price, you do so promptly to
avoid disappointment.
ALL LOTS MAY
BE BID UPON NOW :
You may enter your bids by using the online system,
telephone or fax. Instructions to BUY some lots and
BID on others is of course acceptable. There is no
need to bid over the price marked, just BUY and you
will get the lot if your BUY instruction is received
before any others.
BIDDING
SUCCESSFULLY
For your bids to stand chance of success,
they must be between 75% and the marked BUY price.
Bids below 75% of the marked price will be
disregarded.
In some cases reserves will be higher than 75% of
the price indicated. In some cases, a bid may
need to be 90% of the price marked to be accepted,
all items will have different reserves. Bids will be
accepted entirely at our discretion.
TO LIMIT
EXPENDITURE AND AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT
Whether
BUYING or BIDDING, to avoid failing to secure any
lots you can enter a BUY or BID limit, meaning you
can include further alternative items to be bought
or bid upon, until your limit is reached.
Please note
that although successful BUYS are charged for
immediately, BIDS will be settled at the closing
date.
